PicoSure® Pro Skin Rejuvenation Treatments in San Dimas, California
The PicoSure® Pro laser works to stimulate collagen under the surface of the skin. Collagen is what give us tighter, firmer skin.
During treatments at The Beautx, one of our laser practitioners will use a small hand piece to apply quick pulses of laser energy onto the skin. You may feel a warm, tingling sensation from the laser, but the heat is not intense. It should feel like hot water hitting your skin. Any discomfort that patients feel is minimal, and should go away shortly after the procedure is completed.
Treatments are not intended to burn or break the skin, and at most, minor side effects included redness and slight, temporary swelling.
What Can I Expect from the Results?
Most patients notice immediate results following treatments, although it’s important to keep in mind that the stimulation of new collagen growth may take a couple of months for your desired results to become visible.
The beauty experts at The Beautx recommend scheduling up to 8-12 treatments, depending on the amount of rejuvenation need for the treated area(s). “Touch up” appointments every 3 months are very popular among our patients.
