PRP Microneedling

Microneedling with PRP

PRP microneedling is a relatively new skin treatment that involves the use of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and a special device with tiny needles called Evolved MicroPen. PRP is a concentrated form of blood plasma that contains high levels of platelets, which are responsible for clotting and healing. When PRP is applied to the skin, it stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which are essential for maintaining healthy skin. PRP is a naturally occurring substance in the blood that contains high levels of growth factors, which are proteins that promote healing. When PRP is applied to the skin during microneedling, it helps promote collagen production and skin healing.

PRP Microneedling is a minimally invasive skin rejuvenation treatment that uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to stimulate collagen production and improve the appearance of wrinkles, scars, and other skin irregularities. A small amount of PRP is drawn from the patient’s blood and then injected into the treatment area using a microneedling device. The PRP Microneedling procedure is performed in a doctor’s office or our skin rejuvenation clinic. The patient generally experiences minimal discomfort during the procedure. A local anesthetic may be used to minimize discomfort, and patients can return to work or other daily activities immediately following treatment.
